Zanzibar has a long memory for the ritual of bathing. Sultans commissioned private baths here. Stone Town's historic Hamamni Baths were built for a community that understood water, heat, and stillness as essential, not indulgent.
Cinnamon Spa & Hammam was founded in that same spirit. We have spent fifteen years refining an experience that honours this island's bathing heritage while offering the quiet luxury that discerning travellers expect.

The hammam is not a treatment. It is a sequence. Steam opens the skin. A kese mitt exfoliates what the heat has loosened. Oil works into the muscle. A final rinse clears everything. Then rest, herbal tea, and the particular stillness that follows a ritual properly completed.
